Sarah Gorham
Sarah grew up in the Twin Cities and has lived in Shakopee with her family since 2007. She has been married to her husband Jay since 2000. They have two boys who love to play hockey and lacrosse. She managed the S.K.A.T.E. program (Students Keep Achieving Through Education) that rewards student athletes who reach a 3.0 or higher GPA in school. She also managed committees for the annual River Valley Rumble Lacrosse Tournament in Shakopee. In quieter moments, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah’s experience and real estate knowledge guides clients through a seamless transaction whether they are selling and/or buying a home. She builds relationships and makes the process as fun and stress-free as possible. She has extensive experience in new construction, and has been on both the seller and buyer side of hundreds of existing home sales. She is very dedicated and detailed in each transaction.

Sarah earned a BA in Communications and Writing at Metropolitan State University, St. Paul.

Get to know Sarah Gorham

When did you get into real estate?

“I have been a full-time licensed real estate agent since 2006.”

What made you decide to get into real estate?

“I had family members that were realtors and my dad was a mortgage banker. They were always encouraging me to sell real estate. Eventually, I had a great opportunity to start my real estate adventure and I haven’t looked back!”

What are your thoughts on the 2021 real estate market?

“The 2021 real estate market started out very busy due to low interest rates and low inventory causing homes to sell at higher prices because of the demand. The mid summer market has shifted with a slow down in real estate activity.”

What advice would you give to a first time home buyer?

“Buying your first home is a process, so work with a detailed, experienced agent that will guide you and help you feel more comfortable with each step.”

When you’re not answering your phone, and doing showings, what do you like to do?

“When I am not doing all things real estate, you will find me with my husband Jay, either at a hockey or lacrosse game watching our boys Devan & Owen. I enjoy baking, cooking, playing with our dogs Jack and Jacy, as well as spending time with family and friends.”
